Eskom at 68% Availability: Where the Recovered Megawatts Went

Eskom's year-to-date energy availability factor reached 68.2% by 15 October, up 5.57 points. Unplanned outages in the latest week were 2,939 MW lower than a year earlier, and OCGT output has fallen to about 152 GWh from roughly 1,020 GWh by our back-calculation.
